Chairman, National Caretaker Committee of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ahmed Makarfi, has declared that members who dumped to Mega Party of Nigeria (MPN) will not benefit from the ‘no victor, no vanquished’ policy.
We gathered that Makarfi expressed his displeasure over the defection of some PDP members in the South West to the MPN.
Makarfi said: “No victory, no vanquished applies only to all the happenings before the Supreme Court ruling, that no individual will be punished for merely disagreeing, or not seeing eye to eye with one another before the matter was settled.''
Meanwhile, South West supporters of Senator Ali Modu Sherif sacked National Chairman of the PDP, and Senator Buruji Kashamu (PDP-Ogun East) have given reason for their defection to the party.

The politicians said they left the PDP due to the fact that the Ahmed Makarfi-led National Caretaker Committee was not magnanimous in victory.
Meanwhile, We had reported that after the Supreme Court ruling putting an end to the leadership battle in the Peoples Democratic Party, stakeholders of the party met on July 18 at the National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza.
According to a statement signed by the party's head of publicity division, Chinwe I. Nnorom, the meeting was well attended by high chieftains of the party.
