Both Saraki and Tinubu are peddled as political foes to one another.
While the former Lagos state governor (Tinubu) will be the chairman of the occasion, the Senate President is the special guest of honor. Other prominent personalities expected at the event are the APC serving governors, Ministers and many other National leaders of the party.
A statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday by the APC North central youth leader Terve Aginde, said the event will attract a mid-term lecture on good governess and the Change Agenda of the ruling party.

Aginde believe that as parts of efforts to celebrate, identify and rewarding some “outstanding leaders from all background”, hence the need for the inaugural award ceremony which focus on the mid-term performance and accountability in government.
The statement said: “The North central youths of the party put this event together purposely to promote good governance by rewarding outstanding political office holders and elected representatives for their strides in governance”.
One of the awardees and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Alhaji Hammed Bello are slated to receive Senator Bola Tinubu Award of excellence as a distinguished Political Office Holder.

The event slated for Saturday 15th July, 2017, at Ta’al conference hotel auditorium in Lafia, Nasarawa state, will also honor some governors from the North-central state.
