BREAKING: Senate grills IGP Idris behind closed doors over Melaye

Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, is currently being grilled at the Senate’s chamber by the federal lawmakers over the alleged maltreatment of their colleague, Sen. Dino Melaye during his arrest and detention by the police.

IGP Idris was led into the chamber after the Senate’s plenary had closed at 11:07 am.
