Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, on Tuesday, wept profusely as Benue State buried the two priests and 15 others that were recently massacred by suspected Fulani herdsmen during a mass at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Gwer East LGA of the state.
Weeping alongside Osinabjo during the mass burial conducted for Reverend Fathers Joseph Gor, Felix Tyolaha, and others was the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
We recall that the deceased lost their lives after the suspected herdsmen opened fire on them on April 24, 2018, during a church service at the Makurdi Catholic Diocese.
At the mass funeral today, the Vice President condoled with the Benue State Government and families of those who lost their lives during the tragic incident.
