PICTURES: See The Benz Keke NAPEP That Will Replace Okada In Onitsha And Awka

The Anambra State Government last week banned the use of commercial motorcycle opreators Okada as a means of transportation in the major cities across the state.

As a replacement to the banned Okada the Anambra State Government has also put in place a Benz KEKE NAPEP that will also serve Okada in Onitsha and Awka, Anambra state.

According to the Official statement released by the State Government on why Okada banned.

“Desirous to maintain and improve on the current security situation in the State, the State Government hereby announces a ban on the use of commercial motorcycles popularly known as ‘okada‘ after 7 pm across the State.

“The security agencies are on standby to enforce this ban with immediate effect.

“Ndi Anambra are enjoined to plan their movements accordingly.”
