First Indigenous Abuja Catholic Priest, Rev Fr. Micheal Akawu, Shot Dead In Abuja

The First Indigenous Abuja Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr Micheal Akawu, was killed by suspected armed robbers while shopping.


The deceased who only became a priest in February 2017, was killed by armed robbers in Gwagwalada Abuja Yesterday at a supermarket where he was buying items for the use of the Church. Friends and loved ones have been penning down tributes to the First Indigenous Abuja Catholic Priest on social media.
