Buhari had made it clear that anyone who tries to disrupt the electoral process will be doing so “at the expense of his own life”.
Speaking during the emergency caucus meeting of the All Progressives Congress, APC, the President said he has given instructions to security agencies to ensure the general elections go on smoothly.

Buhari had said: “Anyone who tries to disrupt the electoral process or carry the ballot boxes will be doing so “at the expense of his own life”.
But reacting, Ezekwesili urged the Attorney General to show Buhari the correct verdict for stealing election materials in the constitution.
She tweeted, ”Please get the Attorney General to walk over to the Villa and show @MBuhari that Sec.129 (4) of the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended) provides that, any person who snatches or destroys any election material commits an offence and is liable on conviction to 24 months imprisonment.”
