Speaking in an interview with Daily Independent, the Atona Oodua of Yorubaland said there is a state of hopelessness in the country as Nigerians are hungry and angry.

“I don’t support the total lockdown. I don’t! What about the poor people? Who is making any arrangement for them? These are people who live on daily income. How will they survive with a lockdown for two weeks”.
Did the Lagos state government support it? They are trying to do something for the poor here before the lockdown was announced and yet they are both members of the party. I am not impressed”.
“Nigerians are hungry and angry. They are in a state of hopelessness and the government seems not concerned about them. I’m not happy with the whole arrangement”, he said.
