Nigerian award-winning author and former aide to Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has explained the reason why most people are still single and unmarried.
One of the delicate topics discussed by man is the institution of marriage. It appears everyone has their own definitions and understanding when it comes to discussions on marriage. Reno Omokri has a different opinion on marriage and white weddings.
Earlier today, Reno Omokri argued on his Twitter platform that a church wedding which is also known as a white wedding, is not a Christian marriage. His earlier post caused a stir amongst his fans and followers as many had a different opinion of his argument.
He stated that most people do white weddings because they see the man of God as a representative of God on earth hence seek the blessing of the men of God by holding a white wedding. He however stated that the only people whose blessings are paramount to the blessings of the men of God are parents.
In a new development, Reno Omokri has given the reason why many people are still single although they want to marry. He disclosed that most people are interested in having a while wedding but because they are not financially stable they are unable to.
“Many people are unmarried because they can’t afford a White Wedding and their church insists that a White Wedding is the only wedding approved by God. Emancipate yourselves from religious slavery. A White wedding is pagan. Christians don’t need it! #FreeLeahSharibu #RenosNuggets“.
