Nigerian singer and songwriter, Mayorkun has taken to social media to make case for members in the LGBT community as he shares a profound piece of advice to the.
Taking to his Snapchat, Mayorkun noted that being gay, straight or lesbian does not matter but what is rather more key is that you must be a good person.
The DMW Records signee recognized the fact a person’s sexuality is his or her personal choice and is not answerable to any man but to God.
However, his comment garnered mixed feelings from Nigerians on social media as whilst some lauded him for making a good case for people in the LGBT community, others raised suspicions about his sexuality.
He wrote;
‘Straight, gay, whatever, just be good person, You can discuss your sexuality with God.
